Description
Colombia Tello Women Coffee Project
Colombia is a great example of how coffee can vary greatly depending on the region where it is grown – Coffee plantations stretch along the Andes mountains, through the entire country. The crop is harvested twice a year in Colombia.
Colombia is very mountainous, the microclimate in each coffee region is different, which gives the coffee plantations a wide spectrum of taste. Starting with nuts and chocolate (Northern region) and ending with nuances of fruity and floral flavors. Only Arabica varieties are cultivated in Colombia.
Colombian Huila Tello coffee, it is a coffee from the Women Coffee Project – Tello, Huila. This harvest is the result of an association of 25 strong women, from the Association De Mujeres Rurales Prisma de Tello. The coffee harvest is handpicked, washed, fermented and dried in the sun.
